Medical Disclaimer

What this website is — and what it isn't. Please read this before acting on anything you find here.

Last updated: July 13, 2026
The Short Version
  • Everything on this website is general information, not medical advice.
  • Reading it, watching a video, or talking to us does not make us your doctor.
  • Talk to your own physician before starting any weight-loss program or supplement.
  • Never stop or change a prescription because of anything you read here. Only the doctor who prescribed it should change it.
  • The results you see are real people's individual outcomes — not a promise of yours.

This Medical Disclaimer applies to the entire Dayton Weight Loss Secret website, including all pages, copy, videos, testimonials, before-and-after photographs, charts, and any content we publish or link to. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions and should be read alongside them.

1. This Is Not Medical Advice

The content on this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or the advice of a qualified healthcare provider who knows your history.

Nothing on this website is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition — including obesity, diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease, hormonal disorders, or any other condition. We describe how our program is designed to work in general terms. We are not describing what will happen inside your body, because we don't know your body.

2. No Doctor–Patient Relationship

Using this website does not create a physician-patient, clinician-patient, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and Dayton Weight Loss Secret, its specialists, or any physician affiliated with it. That includes:

  • Reading any page on this site;
  • Watching any video, including our CEO's video or any testimonial;
  • Submitting a form or requesting a free Metabolic Assessment;
  • Speaking with a Metabolic Specialist during a free consultation.

The free Metabolic Assessment is a consultation, not a clinical examination. It is designed to help you understand your options and to determine whether the program may be an appropriate fit. It is not a diagnosis, and it is not treatment. A clinical relationship, where one applies, is established only through a formal intake and enrollment process.

3. Talk to Your Physician First

Before you start our program — or any weight-loss program, diet, supplement regimen, or exercise routine — speak with your own physician or a qualified healthcare provider. This matters more, not less, if you:

  • Have any diagnosed medical condition, including heart, liver, kidney, or thyroid conditions, diabetes, or high blood pressure;
  • Take any prescription medication;
  • Are pregnant, nursing, or trying to become pregnant;
  • Have a history of disordered eating;
  • Have had bariatric surgery or any other procedure affecting digestion or metabolism;
  • Have any known allergy or sensitivity to supplement ingredients.

Bring the program details to that conversation. A good physician would rather look at it with you beforehand than hear about it afterward.

4. Never Stop or Change a Prescribed Medication on Your Own

This is the one section on this page you should not skim.

Nothing on this website is a reason to stop, reduce, skip, or change any prescription medication. That includes prescription weight-loss injections, blood pressure medication, diabetes medication, thyroid medication, antidepressants, and anything else you have been prescribed.

Only the physician who prescribed a medication should change it. Some medications are dangerous to stop abruptly. Some require tapering. Some interact with supplements. Your prescriber knows your chart; a website does not.

Some of the people featured on this site describe reducing or coming off medications. Those changes were made by their own prescribing physicians, based on their individual clinical picture and their own follow-up care — not by us, and not by a weight-loss program. Their experience is not a recommendation, an instruction, or a prediction for you.

And to be direct about the thing our advertising raises most often: if you are currently taking a prescription weight-loss injection and you are considering a different approach, talk to your prescribing physician before you change anything. Not after. Before.

5. Medical Emergencies

If this is an emergency, stop reading.

If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. Do not wait for a response from us. Do not use this website, our forms, our text messages, or our phone line to report an emergency — they are not monitored for emergencies, and our office is open only Monday through Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.

6. Individual Results Vary — And Are Not Guaranteed

We do not guarantee that you will lose any particular amount of weight, or any weight at all. Weight loss depends on many factors that are outside our control and outside yours, including your starting point, age, sex, genetics, hormonal profile, medical history, medications, sleep, stress, adherence to the protocol, and life circumstances.

Any figures on this site — including references to typical losses in the first eight weeks — describe ranges observed among past participants. They are not a promise, a projection, or a clinical prediction for you. Some participants lose less than the people featured. Some lose none. Some regain weight after the program despite the Restore phase.

7. About Our Testimonials & Before/After Photos

The testimonials, before-and-after photographs, weight figures, and success stories on this site reflect the actual experiences of specific individuals, used with their permission. They are real. They are also individual, and they should not be taken as typical or average results.

Statements in testimonials describing improvements in health conditions or changes to medications are the individual's own account of their experience and were made under the care of their own physicians. They are not claims by us that our program treats, cures, or resolves any medical condition, and they are not a basis for you to change your own care.

Individuals featured may have received the program at a discount, at no cost, or received other compensation. Radio personalities who endorse the program have a paid or otherwise compensated relationship with us unless expressly stated otherwise. We disclose this consistent with FTC guidance on endorsements and testimonials.

8. Dietary Supplements & the FDA

FDA Statement

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The nutraceuticals used in our protocol are dietary supplements, not pharmaceutical drugs. They are not FDA-approved medications, and describing a product as "made in an FDA-registered facility" is a statement about the facility, not an FDA endorsement of the product.

Supplements can interact with prescription medications and with each other. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if you experience an adverse reaction. Keep all products out of reach of children. Do not use if pregnant or nursing without first consulting your physician.

9. Who Should Not Participate

This program is not appropriate for everyone. It is not intended for, and should not be started by, anyone who:

  • Is under 18 years old;
  • Is pregnant, nursing, or trying to become pregnant;
  • Has an active or recent eating disorder;
  • Has been advised by their physician not to lose weight, or to lose it only under direct medical supervision.

We may also decline to accept anyone into the program for clinical reasons. If a specialist tells you this isn't the right fit, that is not a rejection of you — it's the system working as intended.

[COUNSEL / CLINICAL: confirm this contraindication list against the actual protocol and your intake screening. Add any condition-specific exclusions your clinical team applies.]

10. A Note on Disordered Eating

Weight-loss marketing can be a difficult thing to read if you have a complicated relationship with food or with your body. If our content is bringing up something painful — if you find yourself restricting, purging, obsessing over numbers, or thinking about your body in ways that frighten you — please talk to a physician or a qualified mental health professional. That's a real thing that deserves real care, and it is not what this program is for.

11. Research & Statistics We Cite

Where we cite published research on weight regain — including long-term studies and meta-analyses from institutions such as UCLA and the National Institutes of Health, which have found that a large majority of people who lose weight through conventional dieting regain it within two to five years — we are citing general research about dieting. We are not claiming those researchers studied, endorsed, or validated our program.

Figures describing outcomes across the Secret for Weight Loss™ network — including references to "100,000+ success stories" — refer to the network of affiliated providers nationwide, not to this practice alone. Statistical information is derived from surveys and data collected by Secret for Weight Loss affiliated providers, is provided for informational purposes only, and has not been independently verified. This program is not a cure or treatment for any health condition.

12. Third-Party Content

This site embeds and links to content we do not control, including video hosted by third parties and statements made by radio personalities. We do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for the accuracy of medical information contained in third-party content, and no third party's statement should be treated as medical advice.

13. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this Medical Disclaimer from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when posted. Please check back periodically.
