Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to tell us to stop. In plain language, wherever the law lets us use plain language.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Dayton Weight Loss Secret ("we," "us," "our"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website, submit a form, call us, or receive text messages from us.

By using our website or providing us your information, you agree to this Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or submit a form.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number, submitted through our forms or given to us on a call.
  • Information you volunteer — anything you choose to tell us about your goals, your weight-loss history, what you've tried before, or your health, whether on a form, on a call, or by text.
  • Appointment details — scheduling preferences and the notes our specialists take about your inquiry.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and general location inferred from IP.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7.
  • Campaign parameters — UTM tags and similar identifiers in the URL, which tell us whether you arrived from radio, a search result, a referral, or a paid ad.

Information from others

  • Advertising and analytics platforms may tell us, in aggregate, how our campaigns performed.
  • Someone may refer you to us and share your name and number. If that happens and you'd rather we didn't have it, tell us and we'll delete it.

3. Health Information

Weight-loss inquiries naturally involve health information. Please share only what you're comfortable sharing on a web form — a form is not a secure clinical channel, and the detailed conversation belongs on your call with a specialist.

Important Distinction

Information you submit through this website is marketing and inquiry information, not a clinical record. If and when you enroll in the program and a clinical relationship is established, health information collected in that context is handled under our clinical privacy practices, which are separate from — and more protective than — this website policy.

[COUNSEL: confirm whether this practice is a HIPAA covered entity. If it is, you need a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices as a separate document, and it must be posted and provided to patients. This website policy does not satisfy that requirement.]

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and contact you about your free Metabolic Assessment;
  • Schedule, confirm, and remind you about appointments;
  • Determine whether the program is an appropriate fit for you;
  • Provide and administer the program if you enroll;
  • Send you service messages and, where you've consented, marketing messages;
  • Measure how our advertising performs and improve our website;
  • Detect fraud and abuse, and keep our systems secure;
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent it out.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • Service providers who work for us. Vendors who host our website, run our CRM and forms, deliver our email and text messages, host our video, and process payments. They may only use the information to perform services for us, and they are bound by contract to protect it. Our current providers include [GoHighLevel / LeadConnector (CRM, forms, SMS), Kinsta (hosting), Vimeo (video), Google (analytics, maps), and our payment processor — CONFIRM AND KEEP THIS LIST CURRENT].
  • Professional advisors — our lawyers, accountants, and insurers, where reasonably necessary.
  • Legal requirements — where we're required to by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe in good faith it's necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.
  • Business transfer — if the practice is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Text Messaging & Mobile Data

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry, your appointment, and — where you've consented — our program and offers. Full program details, including how to opt out, are in our Mobile Terms.

Mobile Information Is Never Shared or Sold

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that provide support services — such as customer service providers — is permitted only where necessary to deliver the service you asked for.

All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

7. Cookies, Pixels & Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to understand how it's used, and to measure our advertising. These include:

  • Essential cookies — needed for the site and its forms to function.
  • Analytics — such as Google Analytics, to see which pages people read and where they leave.
  • Advertising and conversion tracking — such as the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags, which tell us that an ad led to a form submission so we know what's working.
  • Embedded content — Vimeo and Google Maps set their own cookies when their content loads.
What We Don't Do

We do not pass health information, form answers, or the content of what you tell us into advertising or analytics tools. Conversion tracking records that a submission happened — not what was in it.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through the tools offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law. Blocking cookies may cause parts of the site to stop working.

8. How Long We Keep It

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy — to respond to you, to run the program, and to meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. Clinical records, where they exist, are retained for the period required by Ohio law. When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we work with vendors who do the same. But no method of transmission over the internet and no system of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please don't send sensitive medical details through a web form or an unencrypted email.

10. Your Choices & Rights

You can, at any time:

  • Stop texts — reply STOP to any message from us.
  • Stop marketing emails — click unsubscribe at the bottom of any marketing email.
  • Ask us to stop calling — just tell us, on any call or in writing.
  • Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — contact us using the details below and we'll respond within the time the law allows.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — including the right to know what we've collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise these rights by contacting us below. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.

[COUNSEL: confirm which state privacy laws apply based on your actual visitor volume and whether any thresholds are met. If they are, this section may need to be expanded and an appeals process added.]

11. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site links to and embeds content from other services. Once you leave our site or interact with embedded content, that third party's privacy policy governs — not ours. We're not responsible for their practices.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll make a reasonable effort to tell you. Your continued use of the site after we post changes means you accept them.

14. Contact Us
